В аромате преобладают тёмные сухофрукты — чернослив, изюм, финики, вишня, вымоченная в роме, — а также ноты тёмного шоколада, старой мебели и полироли для мебели, кожи, специй, соевого соуса и табака. Во вкусе отмечают сладость, густоту и фруктовость: вишнёвый ликёр, шоколадный соус, апельсиновую цедру, тёмные ягоды, чернослив, кофе и дубовую пряность; при добавлении воды сладость сохраняется, появляются специи, белый перец, марципан и ореховые тона, а также танины шери-древесины. Финиш в отзывах описывается как очень долгий, тёплый и сладкий, постепенно становящийся суше, с ореховостью, горьким апельсином, дубовой пряностью и горьковатыми нотами. Нос	—	Rich and quite powerful. Intense sherried flavours with lots of rum soaked cherries, plums, dates and raisins with underlying notes of Demerara sugar. Behind this, notes of toasted bread and fruit (maybe apricot) develop followed by a delicate touch of sour red currant and creamy balsamic vinegar before the sherry and rum flavours take over again.
Вкус	—	Boy, this is very powerful, intense, and thick on the palate. Very sweet with dark ripe fruit soaked in rum and coated with dark bitter chocolate. The oak appears with gentle spice and a whiff of damped wood, and a slightly bitterness develops. This one coats your mouth and sticks on your tongue for hours.
Финиш	—	The finish is very long, warm and sweet. Gets drier in the end with a lingering nuttiness and bitter orange peal along with oak spice. WITH WATER: The sweetness persists with a mix of ripe dark and red sour cherries. There's increased spiciness, white pepper, subtle marzipan and nutty tones. Additionally, sherrywood tannins become apparent.

As the colour suggests, it must have been a very active cask. A great example of young whisky with a heavy cask influence.

Нос	—	Heavy sherry notes, very aromatic. Fruity with prunes, dates, blackberries, blueberries, molasses, notes of dark rum, beef, soy sauce, tobacco. The dark side of sherry, but with some lighter fruits in the mix.
Вкус	—	Sweet cherry liqueur, chocolate sauce, orange zest, strawberry marmalade. Rich, thick and fruity. There is a slight spiciness, most likely from the alcohol.
Финиш	—	Very sweet, but also quite spicy, alcohol is burning the tongue a bit too much.

Very tasty malt, if you like "Dark Sherry". Anyone who has problems with this, but does not want to miss Sherry, should look for the usual suspects, such as Macallan, Glendronach or Glenfarclas. Basically an older sherry is waiting here with a lot of "bums". Unfortunately now hardly available anymore, at least not at the original issue price. Anyone lucky enough to have it, I can only recommend this malt to my heart. Here you get what you need. Neither the youth, nor the high alcohol content are noticeable, this results in a strong overall picture.

Нос	—	True to the motto: "Are you still living or are you already living" - is that still sherry, or is it already whisky? Violent, all-pervasive sherry flavors. Mountain prunes, raisins and some chocolate. Sweet and strong at the same time. Gorgeous, if you like sherry. The high alcohol content is barely perceptible.
Вкус	—	Here is the cask strength, strong onset, but by no means alcoholic. Then as expected - "The winner takes it all" - in this case, the strong sherry. The chocolate from the nose is there as well as the plums and the raisins. Despite the just 9 years also noticeable seasoning available, but without drifting in Bitternoten. Cask strength, heavy sherry sweetness and light spice - that fits. Of course, you should not expect much from the Brennereicharakter, which goes completely under.
Финиш	—	The finish is long and strong, towards the end a little spicier than on the tongue.

Despite the few years, this great Tullibardine looks much older, the alcohol is well integrated.

Нос	—	old oak furniture and furniture polish, musty wood, heavy and thick sherry, light fruit notes, sweet and strong, slightly musty dried fruit, old raisins, prunes, dark chocolate, thick sauce and seasoning, a little burnt bread
Вкус	—	fruity and peppery, dark fruit (berries) with a bitter orange note, chocolate, barrel flavor, a touch of coffee, strong sherry, dry and strong, but not alcoholic
Финиш	—	long, becoming bitter; dry, spicy, warming and undulating, oak

This bottling seems to have disappreared from shops and from being available as soon as it reached the shelfes. Incredible color, and obviously a sought after bottling with excellent rates of maltmates. Need to find one or two of these.... (Oct2015) Edit: lucky I was, and found one of the last bottles that seem to be available on shelves somewhere hidden in Germany :)

If I could have picked a keg for Barrel # 392, I would have loved Tulli in the Highlands right away. Eye / Nose: Optical: Cola. Point. Heavy sherry sweetness, old furniture, spices (reminds a bit of reduced, dark curry sauce) Palate: creamy, chocolaty, dark, ripe fruit, chocolate kisses, very well integrated alcohol, no junk notes, no bitterness Finish / lFazit: Long, powerful finish, perfectly selected, bottled at the ideal time. Especially in the finish separates in the Dark Sherries often the chaff from the wheat, some bottlings are almost like balsamic. For this one applies: Ingenious Darksherryreifung to IMHO quite fair price of 82.60 EUR for 70cl. Attention! If you do not like strong sherry bottlings, FINGER WEG.
