Wow! That's Littlemill that deposits! Very complex and evolutive. Littlemill markers are very present. Alcohol is perfectly integrated. A fresh and fruity gluttony, I want more!

Нос	—	Ultra herbaceous, extremely fresh. Full of cut grass with morning dew on it. Behind this grass, a basket of fresh fruits (banana, pineapple, peach, apricot, grapefruit). Miameuh! After aeration, the grass partially calms down and lets the fruits express themselves fully. From the daisy stem is revealed.
Вкус	—	The dominant herbaceous nose gives way to fruit in shambles (always a full basket of pineapple, apricots, citrus fruits freshly cut into juicy quarters). Peppery spices appear.
Финиш	—	Long. Slight drought of apricot peel. A mentholated tip in the back of the mouth. Dry apricot settles quietly, and salty vanilla pokes at the palate. Heat radiates in the mouth for long minutes.

Нос	—	Hay, vanilla. Oranges (come and go), peaches (come and go), and other fresh fruits (pineapple?). Toffee scored. Very changeable, even confusing. And a bit austere too, a dry hair, for once.
Вкус	—	I find the profile announced in the nose, fortunately in its less austere form. The fruit and spice combination works very well. Beautiful touch.
Финиш	—	The fruits take an exotic turn, while sweet spices develop. Peach cream. Vanilla. Oily taste. Nice exit! Enthusiasm: Nose 3/5 Mouth 4/5 Final 5/5 Whisky n ° 1942

One of these typically early 90s Littlemill with this great exotic/grassy combo. And from this standpoint, this is one is a great achievement, if you ask me. Worth seeking.

Нос	92	Boy oh boy, this is appealing! Vanilla pods, wood shavings, colour pencils, canned pineapples, and a nice balance with fancy liquor herbal notes (just had a glass of Chartreuse in the afternoon). I like this!
Вкус	91	The best you can get from these 1989/1991 Littlemills, with this great exotic/grassy combo you can also find in upper shelves Inchmurrins. Mangoes burst with Passion fruits and grassy notes, before coffee beans jumps into the picture.
Финиш	90	Not that long, but satisfying enough to jump to another sip.

This dram was part of a MOS lineup with my friends. Without a shadow of the doubt; this was the clear winner of the afternoon/evening. No weak spot anywhere. We could only enjoy this dram for about an hour, where it should have taken us a complete evening to enjoy and explore. Simply a brilliant dram all over. Fruity (bananas, oranges), butterscotch. Full bodied. Long warm finish with some great well integrated spicy flavors in the aftertaste.

The colleague is definitely different. Somehow brute and cool. He'll hit you hard in the hatch.

Нос	—	Colour: Dark gold Nose: Starts something stinging in the nose. Behind it, something waxy and fresh. If the colleague stands for a moment, the stinging is gone immediately. I find a nice mix of pears, red apples and mirabelle plums here. Behind that lies a eagle owl glue note. Somehow it smells fresh like spring. Grassy, a little flowery, grain and a slight note of walnut. With a little time in the glass, the freshness fades into the background. Instead, there is more hay and a fine sweetness. Wet wood and damp sand. With three drops of water, much rounder. Now a lot of vanilla sweetness and the fruit is now more in the canned direction.
Вкус	—	Tart, strong, spicy start. Neat herb load with chilli heat. Black tea and the fruit are unfortunately no longer so tangible. Instead, the bitter walnut becomes clearer. The colleague is really aggressive. Try some water? With three drops of water, the taste is no longer quite as stormy. Now the fruit that has been eaten comes through more tangibly, without the colleague tasting really fruity. The wood now appears drier and significantly more bitter. It brings flavor to the booth! Looks a bit brute. With the third sip, the bitter teen note becomes even clearer and covers everything a little.
Финиш	—	Long. Bitter, tart and very spicy. The nutty aroma stays on the tongue forever. At the very end, after half an hour: D, the dry tea taste develops again with minimal sweetness.

This unique mix of tropical fruits (guava, banana, pomegranate), herbs (including fresh mint), and minerals (salt and chalk) that seems to only be found in Littlemill from this era. While the minerals and herbs dominate more on the nose, the tropical fruits take centre stage on the palate, and on the finish some fresh citrus comes through (grapefruit, lemon) along with the more bitter herbs. The tropical fruit is ever present, however if it managed to dominate throughout as it did on the palate, then it would have taken this dram to another level. Still delicious and quite unique stuff.

Sweet versus Dry I have tried a couple of club bottlings from the Belgian ‘Tongerse Whiskyvrienden’, like their Caol Ila 1990, Kilchoman 2009, Laphroaig 1997 and more recently Highland Park 1994. They were gems, all of them. So the expectations for this Littlemill 1990 are pretty high. Sturdy nose on banana peel, lime and mango. Loads of oak as well. Think freshly sawn planks. Quite a bit of hay too. Something menthol, maybe? Yet this nose is nicely outspoken and balanced. The sweet versus the dry, let us say. Adding water pushes the fruit away and leaves only caramel. On the palate, the wood gladly moves over for the fruit. Think mostly grapefruit, but also mango and pineapple. Touch alcoholic though. Maybe it needs some water. Then it turns a bit dry with a salty edge. Surprising and very nice! The finish is long and zesty with a bit of mint at the death. Need I say it again? Littlemill 1990 is top class.

Part of a MoS tasting I did with friends. It’s always exciting to get to taste lost treasures like Littlemill. This one does not disappoint at all! It is a stunner in my book!

Нос	—	A beautiful, full, old and mature nose. The grassy Littlemill style reveals itself from the start. It needs time to open up. Not something to rush. Orangepeel, citrusfruits, buttered cookies, green banana’s, vanilla. Over time it keeps getting more full, complete and warm. Terrific nose!
Вкус	—	This explodes in your mouth! Sweet and sour, Cream and butter. Apple, orange, hay, several mild spices and a hint of pepper. Very well balanced, mature, rounded and full of flavor. Beautiful!
Финиш	—	Long, this keeps going on and on. And happy about it! It’s gentle and fresh. Fresh citrusfruits, pleasant green herbs. Again very well rounded. The typical grassy character is kept so well after +/- 25 years of maturation.

Awesome Littlemill, a lot going on and something to cherish. Full on buttery fudge, thick vanilla custard but also fruits like apples and bananas. It’s also fresh wit lots of grassy aromas. This whisky offers a velvety structure and an ever going finish. Highly recommended.

An exceptionally elegant and complex Littlemill with a remarkable floral nose. The combination of summer meadow, mature wood aromas, wax, honey, and light fruits creates a multifaceted experience, making the nose the clear highlight of this bottling. The palate is equally impressive, boasting ample body, sweetness, and a pleasantly astringent mouthfeel. However, the finish doesn't quite maintain this level: the peppery/alcoholic spiciness is somewhat too dominant, detracting from some of the anticipated elegance. Nevertheless, it remains a very harmonious and characterful whisky.

Нос	92	Intensely floral and exceptionally elegant, it evokes a blooming summer meadow and fresh flowers. Beautiful, mature wood aromas mingle with hints of vanilla, tart and slightly herbal notes, honey, and mango. Very waxy and fruity, yet simultaneously fresh and vibrant. Gooseberry with a slightly bitter and tangy note, along with physalis, are also present. With time, further delicate fruit nuances develop. Overall, a remarkably complex, elegant, and multifaceted nose.
Вкус	91	Voluminous and mouth-filling, very sweet and distinctly astringent. Caramel, wax, honey, and floral notes, along with fruity nuances. The dry, slightly astringent texture is particularly pleasing and gives the whisky great structure. Very harmonious and elegant.
Финиш	90	Medium-long and pleasantly warming, with vanilla, nut, honey, and floral notes. Gooseberry and lime with a slightly tart-bitter fruitiness, along with a hint of toasted butter. A distinct chili/pepper kick, or rather an alcoholic heat, emerges, detracting somewhat from the otherwise very elegant profile. Overall harmonious, but not quite on par with the nose and palate.

Вкус	—	sweet, nectar, like the one sought after in Suskind's film, close to perfection for the flral and herbal side! a little spice held that makes hold the sensation. the fruits are fine, more on the exotic fruits than on the peach.

Нос	90	Alcohol is slightly aggressive. Yellow fruits, hay. With water, we perceive a little exoticism (passion fruit) but also a slight vegetable bitterness
Вкус	91	Without water, it's very biting again. With water, the aromas explode: always fruit, hay, cut grass and even some spices.
Финиш	90	Good length, mainly on hay, very light smoky.

Нос	90	Vanilla, some fruity notes, loads of fudge. There is even a little freshness in here, after all these years in a barrel. Very much on the bourbon side, with load of cream and soft-ice. There are not much off notes which are typical for Littlemill and makes it so distinctive.
Вкус	92	Little sour, but mainly a bourbon burst. Loads of vanilla, fudge cookiedough and cream. A perfect example of bourbon maturation for a decent time and done well.
Финиш	92	Long length. Again loads of bourbon influences as in the smell and finish. Not much more to add, except this stays on for a while and never gets dry or bitter!
