Very good and extremely complex, but the Pearl Jubilee is better though.

Ok, let's start with the best: send a bottle! Decent finish and acceptable body. At the initial taste I'm just glad that he does not confirm the impression of the nose. That was something between cesspool and Herrenklo. Creepy. To rate the price under these impressions is unjust. That's why I've at least once given a point - but that's grossly exaggerated. Conclusion: Can you drink, if you dare - but closed in the closet makes even better.

Within many previous Alrik tastings, Midsummer is the gentleman among the Ariks. Noticeable but by no means dominant beech wood smoke with slightly greasy nuances, lots of sweetness from dried fruits, some herbs from the typical smoked malt. Good balance.

A very good and complex malt. However, this Alrik has lost some of its "power". Who does not know his predecessors will love him ...

Nose starts will dill notes and moves to strong sweetness of dried fruits, sweet fruits, cherry, chocolate with light spicy notes. The palate is very sweet and dry with notes of raisin, dried fruits, light wood smoke, pepper. The finish is long, sweet, spicy with chocolate, dried fruits and dust notes. This whisky is very interesting and tasty.

Nose: warm and soft ... creamy-sweet and buttery ... scorched wood ... shallow fruit that shimmers through discreetly-raspberry-like direction MOUTH: herbal sweetness with a slightly tart but pleasant acidity ... with chocolate and some nuts and almonds at the end ABKLANG: warm ... smoked forest wood ... tender sweetness that stays pretty long ... one of my favorite malts with smoke!
