A very tasty Edradour from the Oloroso sherry cask, the dosage of the sherry cask aromas is perfect.

Нос	89	Very prominent sherry nose with raisins, dried figs and dates, cherries, blackberries, blueberries. Lots of old leather, tobacco aromas, dusty oak floorboards. Although the aroma direction is clear, it doesn't deliver too much, but just right.
Вкус	88	Sweet-tart, not too strong attack. Wild strawberries, blackberries, black currants, raisins, cherry jam. Dry oak, emerging spices like grated nutmeg, pepper, tarragon. Walnuts, dry autumn leaves, now slightly musty barrel aromas.
Финиш	88	Medium to long, dry and spicy. Still a good portion of berries, leather, flavored tobacco. Musty wood, mushrooms.

Very nice intensity on the nose. Walnut, the oloroso is well marked. In the mouth an explosion of flavor, nuts and chocolate. Medium finish on nuts

Нос	88	Characteristic tones: raisins, prunes, dates, leather, tobacco leaf. Strong alcoholic tones that can be softened with water.
Вкус	87	A sweet, burnt sugar-like rind with raisins. There is dryness, but it quickly goes away changing into technical tones, however, not intrusive.
Финиш	85	Sweet, tart, bitter, but not long lasting.

A very pleasant malt which has full sherry flavors and pleasant spice on the nose. A beautiful dark chocolate dominates the mouth and is accompanied by dark fruits. The finish is pleasantly soft for a long time.

nose: nuts, leaf, bay leaf, stems, young sherry, chocolate, malt right there now creamy butter chocolate, coffee extract mouth: more pleasant than the nose, the chocolate bar is immediately obvious, the fruits macerated on the red and orange fruits, there are citrus fruits with the zest that goes with it, wax, polish before drying , the walnut is there, with its fresh shell crushed just before making its walnut wine, traces of mold at this time, the peppery spices arrive, a little more cooking, roasted, the vanilla caramel also a little burnt appears and gives more viscosity there is also a return of cooked wine, of mutated wine that appears, which remains in the back of the mouth final: spicy, toasted, caramelized, ovomaltine, amalgamated chocolate and coffee, cooked fruit, sweet macerated, a little almond shell surprising finish for a young 11 year old.

Very bright and rich malt, it was very interesting to guess the yeast. Water rounds this nectar well and turns it into a wonderful syrup. N: 22 T: 24 F: 21 B: 23

Color: dark gold N: characteristic of a sherry aged in Oloroso: dried fruits (almonds, walnuts, cashews), grapes, then a rancio aftertaste, resinous, also a little alcoholic (like fruit chocolate with alcohol?). Aeration allows it to open up on more sweet and gourmet notes (chocolate, date). B: lively attack, the alcohol is present but well integrated. Typical sherry in line with the nose. We find the slightly rancid/resinous side. A sour side? F: sweet, then a slight acrid taste emerges.

A very nice Edradour bottling. Very sweet and at the same time very sour notes are in good balance here. The nose particularly appealed to me, on the palate and on the finish there were some nuances that seemed a bit too perfumed to me. Overall very delicious though.

Нос	90	A very appealing and balanced sherry nose. Vanilla, pickled cherries, raspberry jam, cranberry jelly, pipe tobacco, leather, malt, juicy chocolate cake, cherry lollipops, raisins, dates, hazelnut cream, dried lemon slices, rosemary, oak spice.
Вкус	88	Strong attack, silky mouthfeel, at the same time slightly tingling. Slightly stimulates the flow of saliva. Pickled plums, vanilla, malt, chocolate cake, perfume notes towards rose water, sugared grapefruit, red currants, tobacco, raspberry jam and raspberry fizz, rhubarb compote, oak spice.

Bottled at a powerful 55.8% ABV, it combines dark fruit, leather, tobacco and substantial oak influence with a beautifully full body. This is exactly the kind of sherry profile I really enjoy. Immediately, that classic old-school sherry character comes through. Leather and tobacco are followed by heavy oak influence, liquorice and an unmistakable cigar box note. Vanilla, apple and tea add some freshness, while blackberries, blueberries and strawberry bring plenty of dark and red fruit. Cinnamon and a light peppery note add warmth and spice. Deep, rich and wonderfully complex. A fantastic old-school sherry bomb with plenty of character. The combination of leather, tobacco, cigar box, oak and dark berries is right up my alley. At 55.8%, it has plenty of power, but the whisky carries the alcohol beautifully. If you enjoy dry, mature and traditional Oloroso sherry flavours rather than modern sweet sherry bombs, this Edradour is a very impressive dram.

Blueberries, blackberries and strawberry provide plenty of fruit, while vanilla pods add sweetness and roundness. Powerful, rich and very satisfying.
Финиш	88	Slightly dry and beautifully persistent. Leather and tobacco remain prominent, accompanied by blueberries and vanilla pods. Dried strawberry slowly develops towards the end, adding a final layer of fruit to the darker sherry character.

Delivering exactly what one would expect based on the key data. Cherries, prunes, dates, mix of spices (black pepper/ginger), brown sugar, caramel, honey, noticeable oak notes, gentle espresso swings in the background as well. No Sulfur, no over bitterness. To score it even higher, it would need to show more complexity and depth on the palate and in the finish, but that is complaining on a very high level...

Нос	88	A true sherry bomb at first glace. Dried red fruits, cigar box, licorice, raisins, blackberries, caramel custard, cinnamon spices, wet oak wood, plums.
Вкус	89	Little more spices into it with a sharp edge. Also the caramel, licorice and red fruits are dominant. It's more sweet than dark but never the less, cigar box, pinetrees and blackberries are present aswell. This is a perfect dram for those who are new in the whisky world and would like to try something stronger.
Финиш	87	Deep spices, dried red fruits and sweet notes remain dominant. ABV is well intergrated. Doesn't last long but rather smooth.
