Complex. Thanks to the Octave cask, this whisky ages faster. The longer you sit with the glass, the more new undertones you feel

Нос	90	Rich, dense, reveals tones of rough leather, fuel oil. The aroma is complex, comprehensive. Over time, it does not disintegrate, notes of wax and raisins appear among the oil products
Вкус	85	Starts off a bit peppery and spicy, fading into dryness with a little sweetness in the background.
Финиш	88	Long lasting, with intense development from white pepper to leather and earthy tones and further to vanilla, new wood, wax and a little bitterness.

A sweet treat with a hint of salt. A better Ben Nevis and an even better Sherry Casks. Rare these days.

My first dram from the Brothers in Malt and it was such a great one. If I had tasted it blind, I would have estimated it to be much older than 11 years. It has a bit of that old flavour character. Lots of dark fruits, prunes and raisins on the nose. In the background I detect dark chocolate and the scent of leather. The first sip is a revelation for me. First comes the dry sweetness, followed by a slight peppery spiciness, but not disturbing. The spiciness of the barrel spreads in my mouth without being bitter. Still mixed with the sweetness in the background, I taste a little wax, perhaps leather wax. For me, this bottling is harmonious and balanced. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is warm and long-lasting. The spiciness on the palate remains, without any off notes. I give it 90 points.

Sherry whisky of the better kind, but it is not really clear that this is a Ben Nevis. Tolerates water

Very good one. Ben Nevis and sherry, both in a good way. Maybe because of barrel size, but feels just a bit older. Sweet, prickly in a good way (if possible), funky, complex.
