Aroma: The fragrance opens with spicy chocolate and worn leather, followed by tobacco leaves, crystals, and dried dates. Chocolate-covered raisins add a full, dark fruity sweetness. Taste: Dried fruit and dark chocolate form the opening. Then, toasted walnuts, dried apricots, and peppery orange peel emerge, adding a refreshing tension to the sherry profile. Spicy sherry notes are present but elegantly integrated. Finish: Medium-long, with notes of dark cocoa, sherry, dried fruit and a hint of oak spices – warm, round and aromatically dense. A typical, deep chocolate sherry, spicy and intensely fruity, noticeable thanks to the natural depth of the single barrel – dense, warm and wonderfully balanced

91-100 – Whisky heaven, best stuff

Нос 91 Strawberries with leather. Basically brilliant, just not intense enough for a higher rating. A mixture of green and red strawberries.
Вкус 92 Round, full and intense. Leather and dark fruit. Good strength.
Финиш 93 Strawberry chocolate. Very nice. Makes you drool. Makes you dream.

a remarkable bath by its delicacy of well placed flavors. Sweet and strong caramel at the same time.

Most Glendronach's I've tried are not "tart" like this cask.  It's not overly sour and interesting change of pace, but I wouldn't drink this style regularly.

Нос — Like cognac initially, then raspberry preserves, rum raisins, leather, chili and peppercorns.  A "triple S" nose: sweet, sour, spicy.
Вкус — The "triple S" profile continues but comprised of different ingredients: sour cherries, orange liquor, dark chocolate, shitake mushrooms, and a spicy attack of oak.
Финиш — Long, no change from the palette except the oak kick dissipates quickly.

Nose: Intense, fresh, and perfectly composed. Plenty of sweetness combined with the freshness of intensely scented gingerbread and chocolate cake, milk chocolate, caramel, nougat, honey, toffee, vanilla bean, red and dark fruits, strawberries, raisins, blueberries, lingonberries, plum jam, coffee with milk, a touch of wood, and dusty old furniture. Taste Very oily and velvety, a bit more muddy than in the aroma. Dark chocolate, bitter caramel, pleasantly tart wood, nougat, mocha coffee with cinnamon and hazelnut syrup, lots of nuts. Blueberry jam, cherry liqueur, cinnamon, spices, ginger and cumin, jam, dry tobacco, varnish. Finish long, sweet at first, dark chocolate, nuts, caramel, raisins in syrup, plum in chocolate, later turning more bitter, old rotten wood, bitter caramel, dried fruit, a bit of chili, spices, salty caramel.

AROMA: Rich aromas of Christmas pudding, dried figs and dark chocolate combined with notes of cedar and cloves. FLAVOR: Sweet layers of maple syrup, molasses toffee and prunes mixed with maraschino cherries, butter, brandy and Black Forest cake. FINISH: Warming impressions of ash toffee, fruit cake and crystallized ginger, evolving into cherry jam and espresso.

Aroma: Sweet notes of sherry and deep aromas of raisins and dates are supported by a delicate, malty base. A subtle hint of smoke adds depth to the bouquet. Taste: The palate reveals bold malt and creamy caramel, evolving into a fruity sherry sweetness. This subtle sweetness harmoniously complements the dense structure of Pedro Ximénez. Finish.. The aftertaste is long and present, with notes of dried fruit and spicy smoke that fades elegantly.
